This is European fine contemporary full size violin. It was made in the tradition of the Italian school of violin-making. It features well aged beautiful tonewoods, skillful workmanship and shows tremendous attention to detail. The finish is antiqued and was varnished with a hand-applied Italian recipe varnish which has satin sheen. This quality violin has a beautiful and elegant Strad outline, finely executed f-holes, crisp edges, precisely inlaid purfling and a very elegant scroll! The workmanship inside is as good as the outside and shows high quality master craftsmanship. The tone of these violins is rich, warm, well balanced and open. It is very resonant and has plenty of volume with excellent projection. It responds very well to bow articulation and is suitable for any advanced or serious players, it is also a wonderful choice as a back-up or second violin.

ReplyDeleteSuper impressed with this product. Purchased the 1/2 size for my 9 year old daughter who wants to learn violin. I received it about 10 days before Christmas, inserted the bridge and tuned it using a clip-on style guitar tuner. It stayed in tune remarkably well over that time and just sounds so good for a $100 musical instrument. After a brief discussion about listening to the tone and trying to make it sound "not scratchy" it seemed to click for her and she was able to get some good sounding notes, both bowed and plucked, on Christmas morning.
